Dr. E. E. Bafor is the founder and lead researcher of the Reproductive Health/Ethnopharmacology Research Group (RHERG) in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, University of Benin. Her laboratory is currently in collaboration with other top research laboratories worldwide. Her research is primarily focused on myometrial functioning in pregnant and non-pregnant states as well as in diseased conditions. She is involved in promoting the United Nation’s commitment on the Global Strategy on Women’s, Children’s and Adolescent’s Health. She specializes in reproductive sciences and natural product research.
